The Department of Geography established in 2014, completed 9 years successfully as an educational center offering courses for the Bachelor degree of arts and science. The department tries to provide a learning environment together with quality teaching. Our department also give emphasizes on applied techniques and field work so that students learn the application of theoretical knowledge in solving daily life geographical problem. As we offer only general degree course, the thrust areas of the department are geomorphology, climatology, biogeography, economic geography, applied geography, cartography etc. The department has two faculty members and well equipped laboratory. There is an easy access of practical tools and instrument for students. The students also can access the centralised library for the subject of geography.
