The Department of Economics is an integral part of Bangabasi Morning College, since its inception as an independent college in 1965. The Department boasts a rich history and a commitment to students&rsquo; success. Teachers of the Department take Economics classes of B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com courses. Engaging teaching methods include lectures, quizzes, and presentations. Teachers use several ICT tools (including AI) to make teaching more attractive. Teachers also promote the concept of Flipped Classroom learning method via use of LMS or YouTube. Teachers often need to deliver lectures in three languages&mdash;English, Hindi and Bengali, as students come from diverse backgrounds. To further enrich the learning experience, the Department organizes seminars featuring prominent academics. Encouraging open communication, teachers are accessible beyond class hours for one-on-one guidance. Finally, students have access to the College Library&rsquo;s resources to supplement their studies.&nbsp;
